Staying connected -
Ulster’s Alumni Community
Congratulations on your graduation.
Graduation marks the beginning of a new
phase of your relationship with the University.
As an alumnus or alumna, you are now part
of our dynamic and ever-increasing family of
160,000 alumni worldwide. We are delighted
to support you as you make your way in
the world.
Ulster University alumni have achieved
distinction in many fields across the globe
and we are proud that they continue to
engage and support the University in
a variety of ways.
The next chapter
The Alumni Relations office will help you
develop a life-long relationship with the
University and will help you keep in touch -
with us and each other.
Our alumni play an extremely valuable role
by providing support for University activities
as well as for current and former students,
by getting involved in activities such as
mentoring, providing internships and financial
support amongst others. All of this enhances
the experience students have during their
time here. You are enrolled as a member of
the alumni association when you graduate
and you have immediate access to a range
of benefits including:
• Building your business networks (local,
UK-wide and international)
• Invitations to exclusive networking events
• Opportunities to develop your career
and prospects
• Getting some exposure – profile your career/
business successes
• Boosting your skills through volunteering
with the University or further study
• Access to University resources and
information (including the library and
sports facilities)
You can find out about all of these and other
opportunities through our website, annual
alumni magazine The Ulster Graduate, regular
e-updates, email communications, and via
social media (see details on how you can join
us below). Ulster Alumni online also has details
of how you can engage with the University,
forthcoming events, ways to volunteer and
support the University as well as allowing
you to manage your personal details.
Keep in touch
Help us keep in touch and ensure you have
access to all the benefits detailed above
by keeping us up-to-date with your contact
details. Remember to tell us when you get
that first job, get promoted or buy your
first house.
