2011 Regional Coordinating Teams The position of the regional coordinating team within the GHSMTC is an extremely important and indispensable one. It is at the regional level that the greatest number of students, teachers and attorneys participate in the mock trial program. Each year our regional coordinating teams thoroughly prepare for the regional competition day by carefully planning for the event over the months preceding the beginning of the rounds. On competition day, teachers, students and parents receive an outstanding impression of how well the GHSMTC and local legal communities statewide can organize and run a competitive event crowning weeks of study and practice. It is during the regional level of competition that the legal profession truly puts its best foot forward: all forces on our coordinating teams work well together, and each and every step of the day shows our participants the professionalism, skill, and cool‐headed order which is the highest ideal of our justice system because anything less would do a disservice to the countless hours of investment by our program’s participants. The integrity of the GHSMTC relies upon the polished and unblemished management of the regional competition day statewide and our coordinating teams meet this challenge each season with orderliness, enthusiasm and a knack for creating an incomparable educational experience.
