The YLD High School Mock Trial
Committee maintains an extensive web site for
our participating teams, coaches, HSMT
Committee members and volunteers. The
address for the home page is
www.georgiamocktrial.org. The mock trial web
pages contain information on all aspects of the
program. A description of the web site and
information contained thereon follows.
“About Georgia Mock Trial” Link
This is a good place to start for people
wanting to know more about the competition
and how they may become involved as a coach
or register as a team. The “Overview of the
Mock Trial Program” defines a mock trial
competition; describes the make‐up of a team;
lists the benefits of participation to students,
teachers and attorneys; and contains
comments about the program from key leaders
of government and education in Georgia.
Information on the YLD/HSMT Committee and
supporters of the HSMT Program is also
provided.
“Programs” Link
Coached and students can find
information on the 2012 season including the
season calendar, team registration materials,
regional assignments, Regional Champion
packets, Outstanding Coach nomination forms,
season evaluation forms, information on the
Craig Harding Memorial Artist Contest, as well
as information on the Georgia Student Bar
Association, and the current state mock trial
champion. Registration packet and brochure
for the next Law Academy are also available.
