Attorney Coach Opportunities for the 2012 Mock Trial Season
Attorney Coaches may receive CLE credit!
Each year, the mock trial office receives numerous requests from teams across the state for
attorneys who have volunteered to assist in coaching teams. If you are an attorney, your expertise can
be invaluable to a team. From the finer points of delivering a closing argument to the rules of
evidence, teams need attorneys who are willing to coach them through the legal—and ethical—
aspects of trial preparation. A minimum investment of at least 10 hours is asked of each volunteer
attorney coach. Judging or evaluating a round or two and providing feedback at your local regional or
at the state finals competition will also make a positive impact on the overall program. Please contact
the mock trial office (using the form provided on the next page) before 1 November if you are
interested in coaching.
Judging Panel Volunteer Opportunities for the 2012 Season
state finals competition in Lawrenceville over the third weekend in March. If you’re interested in
volunteering to serve on a judging panel, please contact the mock trial office before 1 November.
