The <strong>Bible</strong> Camp’s For Me!<br />
Nay, I’ve never missed a single <strong>Bible</strong> camp.<br />
Be it Port Dickson, Malacca, Awana, Batam or Bintan.<br />
The camp venue gets better each year.<br />
I look forward to our very own campsite at Mersing.<br />
The spiritual lessons I learn from each <strong>Bible</strong> camp<br />
Is tantamount to a year’s church attendance.<br />
The <strong>Bible</strong> lessons that my seven-year-old son receives,<br />
Helps to train him up in ‘the way that he should go.’<br />
This time my octogenarian Mum will come along.<br />
The humdrum of life prevents much communication,<br />
And <strong>Bible</strong> Camp gives opportunity for sweet communion<br />
As we interact, relax and strengthen our relationship.<br />
Beloved brethren, would you be a Mary or a Martha <br />
I would a Mary be and ‘sit at Jesus feet’<br />
Than a Martha slogging at my workdesk<br />
And deprive my loved ones of a rest !<br />
Come unto me all ye that labour……<br />
Yes, the Master beckons to us who’re work-laden<br />
To put away our cares and turn our eyes on Him,<br />
Who understands that our frail bodies need nourishing.<br />
Nay, I’ve never regretted time spent at <strong>Bible</strong> Camp,<br />
In fact it’s a foretaste of heaven on earth.<br />
