the 30 th anniversary of the <strong>Far</strong> <strong>Eastern</strong><br />
<strong>Bible</strong> <strong>College</strong> in 1992. He warned that<br />
“there is not only the danger of the founding<br />
fathers losing contact with the younger<br />
churches, but of the younger churches coming<br />
up not to know the faith of their fathers”<br />
for this church “which was founded<br />
to withstand the flood of modernism and<br />
ecumenism might well be carried away by<br />
it”. He further quoted Dr Clyde Kennedy,<br />
a president of Shelton <strong>College</strong>, that “if the<br />
Church today will study its own history,<br />
she will not let history repeat itself”.<br />
The writer’s fervent prayer for this<br />
write-up is an echo of the founding pastor’s<br />
message: “May our sons and daughters<br />
know well the roots of our faith and<br />
may they remain filial and faithful until the<br />
day of <strong>His</strong> glorious appearing. Amen”.<br />
May the Lord help us. Amen and amen.<br />
