Action Field Description<br />

1 An applicant becomes inactive when <strong>the</strong>y are no longer being considered for <strong>the</strong> position. An<br />

applicant is inactive for <strong>the</strong> following reasons:<br />

• The applicant <strong>has</strong> started to apply to <strong>the</strong> vacancy, but never completed his/her<br />

applic<strong>at</strong>ion. This inform<strong>at</strong>ion is not available to <strong>the</strong> department to review.<br />

• You have asked supplemental questions of your applicants and are disqualifying<br />

applicants based on <strong>the</strong>ir response. These applicants will be notified immedi<strong>at</strong>ely<br />

th<strong>at</strong> <strong>the</strong>y are not being considered for this position and <strong>the</strong> applicant will be<br />

considered inactive. The inform<strong>at</strong>ion is not available to <strong>the</strong> department to review.<br />

• The department <strong>has</strong> disqualified <strong>the</strong> applicant using <strong>the</strong> change st<strong>at</strong>us option. The<br />

applicant becomes inactive, but <strong>the</strong> applic<strong>at</strong>ion inform<strong>at</strong>ion continues to be available<br />

for department review.<br />

2 To view inactive applicants, click on <strong>the</strong> checkbox next to <strong>the</strong> Inactive Applicants text over<br />

<strong>the</strong> refresh button.<br />

3 Click on Refresh.<br />
