Action Field Description
1 An applicant becomes inactive when they are no longer being considered for the position. An
applicant is inactive for the following reasons:
• The applicant has started to apply to the vacancy, but never completed his/her
application. This information is not available to the department to review.
• You have asked supplemental questions of your applicants and are disqualifying
applicants based on their response. These applicants will be notified immediately
that they are not being considered for this position and the applicant will be
considered inactive. The information is not available to the department to review.
• The department has disqualified the applicant using the change status option. The
applicant becomes inactive, but the application information continues to be available
for department review.
2 To view inactive applicants, click on the checkbox next to the Inactive Applicants text over
the refresh button.
3 Click on Refresh.
