Corvatsch/Furtschellas: From<br />
Silvaplana-Surlej, an impressive, large<br />
cable car glides in just a few minutes<br />
up to the Corvatsch snow sports area,<br />
where the pistes are directly linked<br />
with those of the Furtschellas area<br />
above Sils. As well as the demanding<br />
9 km (5.5-mile) run down to the<br />
valley, there is a wide choice of runs<br />
of various levels of difficulty to suit<br />
all skiers and snowboarders. The<br />
new cable car serving the second<br />
section of the ascent takes you to the<br />
Corvatsch summit station at an<br />
altitude of 3,303m (10,837ft). Altogether,<br />
14 ski lifts and 10 mountain restaurants<br />
provide ample variety.<br />

Zuoz: The sunny winter sports area<br />
above Zuoz offers experienced and<br />
novice skiers and snowboarders – as<br />
well as families – a rich variety of<br />
snow sports fun. The five lifts include<br />
two chair lifts, one of which is a<br />
special, child-secure model. The large<br />
“Kinderland” children’s area is a big<br />
attraction for the youngest guests.<br />
