Zernez, too, lies close to the region’s large ski areas. A magnificent choice of idyllic cross-country ski trails<br />
leads into the great expanse of the Upper <strong>Engadin</strong>, as well as towards the Lower <strong>Engadin</strong>; one highlight<br />
is the floodlit night trail. The surrounding countryside is also perfect for guided snowshoe hikes – on the<br />
Ofen Pass, for example. More fun is on offer at the Munt Baselgia toboggan run, the artificial ice rink and<br />
the wonderful natural ice rink. The attractive family pool and the fascinating National Park Visitor Centre<br />
are especially worth a visit should the sun choose not to shine.<br />
