As it has customs facilities, <strong>Engadin</strong> Airport can also accommodate direct<br />

international flights. A charter service links the <strong>Engadin</strong> with national and<br />

By car A well-developed network of roads makes driving to the <strong>Engadin</strong> safe<br />

and comfortable. From within Switzerland, you can travel via Chur and the Julier<br />

Pass, or via Klosters by car-transporter service through the Vereina tunnel (trains<br />

every half-hour). From Germany and Austria, access is also possible via Landeck<br />

– and from Italy, via the Maloja Pass, the Bernina Pass or the Ofen Pass.<br />

By train Visitors travel as far as Chur with the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB),<br />

then continue their journey with the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). The line through<br />

the Albula valley into the <strong>Engadin</strong>, with its spiral tunnels and giddying<br />

viaducts, is one of the most picturesque and interesting in the whole of Europe.<br />

Together with the Bernina Line, it became part of UNESCO World Heritage in<br />

Shuttle bus A direct bus transfer brings visitors comfortably from Zurich Airport<br />
