IMC Helmet Communications Systems<br />
The IMC family of motorcycle-specific communication kits range from a<br />
speaker kit for music to an integrated hub for all your wired devices. All kits<br />
include high-quality speakers that sound great whether you’re listening to GPS<br />
commands, intercom, or your favorite bootleg version of “Born to be Wild.”<br />
The kits come in 3 flavors depending on the style of helmet you will be<br />
using. For 3/4 open-faced or flip-up modular helmets a flexible boom<br />
microphone is provided. Fixed-chin full-face helmets come with a “cotton<br />
ball” Velcro microphone. Both the speakers and microphones attach using<br />
adhesive backed Velcro. For half-helmets or going<br />
lidless, the speakers and boom mic are integrated<br />
into a band that goes around your neck and is<br />
supported by your ears, c’est-bon!<br />
For bike-to-bike communication we offer the HS series. You supply the<br />
FRS radio (walkie-talkie), or hand held CB, and IMC supplies the rest. The<br />
lower cord is a Y-cable. One end connects to the headset, one end to the<br />
radio, and the other ends in a weatherproof push-to-talk button that has a<br />
Velcro wrap to mount to your left handlebar. Included in the price of the kit<br />
is a model-specific adaptor for your particular brand of radio that you<br />
choose at the time of purchase.<br />

For those that want it all this Multi-Channel Communication Hub is just<br />
what the doctor ordered. You can plug in your cell<br />
phone, MP3 player, or GPS, and a two-way radio. There<br />
is also full-duplex driver to passenger intercom. The<br />
unit is powered off of your bikes electrical system and<br />
automatically prioritizes between the various inputs.<br />
Included in the kit are 2 complete headsets with both Boom<br />
and Velcro mics to fit any open-face, full-face or flip-up<br />
helmet, a push-to-talk button for use with 2-way<br />
radios and a brand specific adaptor for your radio<br />
that you choose when purchasing the kit. Cell phones may need an additional<br />
adaptor cord from the phone manufacturer.<br />

If all you want to do is listen to your favorite music or the<br />
voice commands of your GPS while you ride check out this<br />
Helmet Kit for Music. Designed for full-faced, flip-up, and<br />
open-faced helmets, just pop the super-thin (6mm),<br />
padded speakers into place and then simply plug into your<br />
CD player, MP3 player, or other music device that has a HS200<br />
3.5mm stereo jack and you’re rocking. Includes a coiled<br />
cord with waterproof USB type connector so you can unplug the connector<br />
when you are not listening. Sometimes simple is better!<br />

IMC Audio Amplifier<br />
Depending on your combination of helmet, bike,<br />
and audio device, you may need added amplification<br />
for your helmet music kit. For this situation we<br />
offer the IMC Audio Amplifier. This unit measures<br />
about 3 x 2 x 1 inches and has an on/off volume<br />
switch and rechargeable battery good for 6–8 hours<br />
of amplification on a full charge. The amp goes<br />
between the end of your lower cord and the audio MAP20<br />
source. Not for use in 2-way communication. Maximum output is 2 watts.<br />
