The Katmandu jacket has an intermediate length, longer than a traditional waist length motorcycle jacket but not as long as a typical ¾ length jacket, and is cut longer in the back. Made of waterproof and breathable Hypertex, the outer shell is constructed of 420 denier rip-stop nylon and 300 denier high density nylon which is both durable and lightweight for ease of movement. Add to this elbow and underarm waterproof and breathable stretch material for increased flexibility.
