1 The National Gallery: This is an image taken from a brief set by
The Partners where the aim was to make the whole country aware
of The National Gallery. My final concept was to take paintings from
The National Gallery and place them into homes, pubs and
restaurants up and down the country, effectively making these
premises the new The National Gallery.
2 E-sting: This is a screen shot taken from one of three E-sting
projects designed for the E4 television channel. I’ve used an 80’s
retro game theme as my style. This screen shot is taken from my
flash animation inspired by ‘Space Invaders’ where the invading
aliens are substituted by the E4 logo.
3 The Metamorphosis: This image is an illustration that I designed
for an interactive animation based on the short story by Franz
Kafka: The Metamorphosis. My inspiration came from German
Expressionism of the 1900’s that I translated in to my own style.
Reflections As I reflect back at my time at University I realise just
how much I have acquired over the years. My skills in all areas of
design have improved. I have learnt to develop my own techniques
of design and not be afraid to apply my concepts to given briefs.
Aspirations For the same reasons I started University my
aspirations are to improve myself to gain a better quality of life and
most importantly to be happy. Happiness will come from having a
fulfilling job that would allow my imagination a free reign.
