1 This is a s<strong>am</strong>ple <strong>of</strong> my illustration work. The picture was made<br />
with watercolour, pencil and ink and is inspired by the random<br />
goings on inside my head.<br />
2 This piece is one <strong>of</strong> three designs I did for a project on<br />
horoscope design. This s<strong>am</strong>ple being Virgo. The image is a<br />
combination <strong>of</strong> photography and typography and was<br />
created in Photoshop.<br />
3 Shown here is a detail <strong>of</strong> a horror poster c<strong>am</strong>paign which I<br />
completed for a negotiated project. I wanted to represent the<br />
madness and despair <strong>of</strong> the classic horror movies, but add a<br />
modern twist.<br />
Reflections My time in Wolverh<strong>am</strong>pton studying Graphic<br />
Communication was exciting, memorable and very worth while. The<br />
level <strong>of</strong> my work and also my understanding <strong>of</strong> the industry has<br />
increased significantly. I met a lot <strong>of</strong> cool people, read a lot <strong>of</strong> great<br />
books and got a lot <strong>of</strong> inspiration.<br />
Aspirations I aspire to be happy in what I do. I think Ill spend a<br />
couple <strong>of</strong> years in the industry and then Id like to go on to teach<br />
visual communications. Set up a FREE music or arts mag, do some<br />
freelance, get some fine art exhibitions and continue to learn about<br />
visual culture. Have fun. See the world.
