1 Iconic Image project. To create an image that represents the city
and to attract new clients to the up and coming city of
Wolverhampton. I set out by exploring the cities highs and lows
looking for its alternative and unique mannerisms. I documented it
by collecting and taking photos of the strongest points of the city
and collaborating them to unite the cities diverse customs and
relations with the community.
2 Mark twain project. To take the quote, The man who does not
read good books has no advantage over the man who cant read
them. My colleague and myself wanted to create a game to make it
highly interactive. The visuals were based on mark twains collection of
diaries and scrapbooks.
3 Franz Kafka project. I took a modern twist on the story which
questioned my feelings about today’s society and the choices we
make about are life’s situation and ho we blame for what we are,
dealing with relation ships and employment. I questioned weather
we are comfortable The film is created with stop animation in an
abandoned warehouse and develops into interactive world
questioning the double thoughts we have before you sleep.
Reflections I have not only developed valuable skills as a designer
at university but have developed my confidence with applying my
creativity, to briefs and the value of teamwork. But above all
university has enabled me to be happy within my work and my self.
Aspirations I am looking forward to the day where I can earn a
living from my passion for design. I am planning to move to London
to see where I can pursue my career as a creative AND contribute
to an open-minded community of designers willing to experiment
and persist within new medias and technology.
