1 This is a poster from a re-branding assignment for EVOCA cola. We
were given the task of a “re-brand” however we were only able to
tweak the original design. We also had to produce branding for their up
coming lemonade, mineral water, orangeade and sugar free products.
2 Here is a section from an editorial assignment we were set for
the Edinburgh Fringe festival. We were to produce the event listings
and information booklet(s) for the event. Utilizing out typographic
skills to create systems and themes to make the information easily
accessible and interesting. I produced 4 booklets within a
corresponding slip case.
3 This a page from an editorial book titled “dream and talk”, we were
given the body text and almost free reign on how to approach the look
and feel of the book. The content covered the subjects of colour and
light, so I tried to reflect these genres within my layouts designs.
Reflections Over my time at the University of Wolverhampton, I feel
that I have further defined my individual style, improved technical
abilities and discovered what aspects of design I enjoyed the most,
which happened to be editorial design. I have thoroughly enjoyed
this experience as a whole both academically and socially, having
made some valuable friendships along the way.
Aspirations I hope to become one of the mass employed after so
long in education and gain some valuable experience in the industry.
There are a few avenues that I would like to explore, working within a
large design establishment with career prospects would be top of
my list, starting a business of my own or even teaching and basically
just to see what the subject that I enjoy so much has to offer in all
it’s varied forms.
