Using tools in Photoshop I tried to get an urban feel in my photography o keep consistency in the project and the whole point was to research urban Birmingham. 2 An image from a website I created for pregnant Sikh women giving advice for a healthy pregnancy for mind body and soul; I kept all colours subtle and all images inspiring. 3 This is a photograph of my best friend who I did the make up for whilst she was modelling for a new and upcoming Asian fashion magazine, whilst I was in the studio I took the chance to use professional photography equipment and took some shots myself. Reflections I reflect Organisation. I reflect Patience. I reflect Determination. I reflect Ambition. I reflect Motivation. I reflect Initiative. I reflect Pride. Aspirations I want to Help. I want To Provide Love. I want To Conquer My World. I want Truth. I want Progression. I want Success. I WILL be my best.

Inderjit Bala Telephone: [+44/0] 794 656 0937 [+44/0] 1902 340 023 e-mail/web: i.bala@hotmail.co.uk 1 2 3 1 This is a spread from my book, I designed this page along with the rest of the book as a surreal and abstract piece. I decided to create this layout with a lot of white space to enhance the central image. 2 Here is my design for a horror film festival poster, the film was ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ so I decided to play on the goriness and bloody side of the film. I felt that this design portrayed the message of horror and worked well as a poster. 3 Here I re-branded the design of Evoca Cola. I decided to make the design more fresh and appealing to the consumer, but keeping the originality of the product at the same time. I did this by keeping to the original colour palette but incorporated a stylized splash in the background. Reflections My time studying Graphic Communication has been very educational and I feel I have grown more not just as a designer but also as a person. I now feel that I have the confidence and the right attitude to progress as a designer and take the next step in life. Aspirations My aim as a student was to be the best that I can be, and I feel that I achieved that aim. So my aim for the future will also be to be the best, and by having that goal to reach I feel I can achieve my overall goal of being successful within graphic design.
