Guidance: Woody debris, snags, dens and tree cavities provide cover habitat for wildlife, as well as offering a diversity of<br />

forage and nesting sites. Fallen tree logs also increase the microtopographic diversity within sites, thus allowing a diverse<br />

assemblage of plant species and providing microhabitats for various wildlife. Does the density and quality of coarse woody<br />

debris, snags, dens and cavities within the wetland appear to provide appropriate structural habitat for the type of system being<br />

evaluated<br />
