Crafts with Susan
Thursday, May 23 at 11 a.m.
Join Susan on May 23 at 11 a.m. and make yourself a
summer scarf! Just bring a T-shirt or two that you no longer
want/wear and we’ll have some fun. On Thursday, May 30
at 10:30 a.m. come back to make a great chalkboard to
hang or lean against a wall. Bring with you an old tray that
you don’t care about; wood, brass, silver-plated, any are
perfect. If you don’t have a T-shirt or a tray, don’t forget
the thrift store, they have a secret stash of goodies. Additional
supplies will be available at no cost.
Veteran’s Agent Coffee Hour
May 28 at 10:30 a.m.
Have you met Ray Janke, Belchertown’s Veteran
Agent This is a great time to stop down and meet him
and find out what benefits are available to you. The fourth
Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m. Janke will be at the
senior center with a bag full of tricks and a pocketful of
information for a round table discussion. Janke will still
be at the center on the third Thursday of each month for
private questions and answers.
Dental cleaning appointments
Wednesday, May 29 from 1 to 3:45 p.m.
Marcy E. Foreman, RDH, BS will be at the Senior
Center on May 29 and will offer dental/oral cancer screenings
(no charge) and dental cleanings. Dental cleanings
are only $53 and can possibly be reduced based on income/
household size. MassHealth, Commonwealth Cares &
Senior Whole Health Insurances will cover in full these
services. Call the to schedule an appointment.

Painting Group
Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
Time to dust off your paint brushes and come down to
the center on Thursday morning. Join a group of fun talented
painters. Bring your brushes, paints, something to paint
on and your enthusiasm. This group offers free advice and
lots of fun!
TRAVEL CLUB:
The Travel Club is open Monday through Friday from
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop by for information. Trips are open to
the general public.

Lunch is served daily at noon. Reservations must be
made by noon the day before. The suggested donation is

Magic Wings: Dining out with Kim on May 22. Magic
Wings Butterfly Conservatory and lunch at the Monarchs
Restaurant. Lunch and entry to the conservatory is on your
