‘Winter in the <strong>Wine</strong>ries’ in Calistoga Through February 6<br />
Calistoga’s Winter in the <strong>Wine</strong>ries,<br />
through February 6, offers a great way to<br />
tour, taste wine and meet winemakers at<br />
15 award-winning wineries in and<br />
around this northernmost Napa Valley<br />
town. Those purchasing a passport to<br />
the event will have access to a select<br />
group of Calistoga wineries for one low<br />
price of $50 during the two-month<br />
period.<br />
Passport holders can visit as many<br />
times as they want during that time to<br />
use the 15 tastings (one tasting per<br />
winery), as well as receive discounts at several of Calistoga’s finest<br />
restaurants and lodging properties. Participating restaurants will waive<br />
corkage for passport holders, and lodgings will offer special room rates<br />
for passport holders.<br />
<strong>Wine</strong>ries participating in Winter in the <strong>Wine</strong>ries include Castello<br />
di Amorosa, Bennett Lane <strong>Wine</strong>ry, Chateau Montelena, Clos Pegase,<br />
Envy <strong>Wine</strong>ry, Lava Vine <strong>Wine</strong>ry, Zahtila Vineyards, Madrigal Vineyards,<br />
Rios Tasting Room, Sterling Vineyards, Summers <strong>Wine</strong>ry,<br />
Tudal <strong>Wine</strong>ry, Twomey Cellars, Von Strasser and W.H. Smith <strong>Wine</strong>s.<br />
Lodging properties offering special room rates to passport holders<br />
include: Brannan Cottage Inn; Chelsea Garden Inn; Calistoga Inn,<br />
Restaurant and Brewery; Calistoga Spa Hot Springs; Christopher’s<br />
Inn; Craftsman Inn; Eurospa & Inn; The Lodge at Calistoga; Mount<br />
<strong>View</strong> Hotel & Spa; Roman Spa Hot Springs; Best Western Stevenson<br />
Manor; and Calistoga <strong>Wine</strong> Way Inn.<br />
Participating restaurants include All Seasons; Barolo; Brannan’s<br />
Grill; Calistoga Inn, Restaurant and Brewery; and JoLe.<br />
