14th Annual “<strong>Wine</strong> & Chocolate <strong>Week</strong>end”<br />
February 12th & 13th<br />
What better way to spend Valentine’s Day<br />
weekend than sipping fabulous Lodi wine<br />
while indulging in decadent chocolates with<br />
that special someone. February 12th and<br />
13th marks the return of the ever-popular<br />
Lodi “<strong>Wine</strong> & Chocolate <strong>Week</strong>end,” which<br />
takes place throughout Lodi <strong>Wine</strong> <strong>Country</strong> at<br />
more than 40 participating wineries from 11<br />
a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Event attendees will<br />
have the opportunity to travel from winery to<br />
winery while taking in each of the winery’s<br />
hosted activities such as wine and chocolate<br />
pairings, live music, barrel tasting and cellar<br />
tours.<br />
They will also have the opportunity to win<br />
from more than 100 prizes by unwrapping<br />
the “Golden Ticket” which will be hidden in<br />
this year’s commemorative chocolate tin.<br />
“<strong>Wine</strong> & Chocolate <strong>Week</strong>end is one of our<br />
most popular events. What’s more romantic<br />
than wine and chocolate And who doesn’t<br />
love that we’ve taken care of the planning and<br />
details for you All you have to do is show up<br />
and enjoy Lodi <strong>Wine</strong> <strong>Country</strong>’s hospitality.<br />
We’ll make sure it’s a Valentine’s Day weekend<br />
to remember,” said Courtney Thommen,<br />
Event Manager of the Lodi <strong>Wine</strong>grape<br />
Commission.<br />
Tickets are on sale and can be purchased<br />
online at www.lodiwineandchocolate.com or<br />
by calling the Lodi <strong>Wine</strong> & Visitor Center at<br />
(209) 365-0621. Ticket prices are $45 in<br />
advance or $55 during the event. Tickets<br />
include an event wine glass, a commemorative<br />
chocolate tin, wine tasting and admission<br />
to all participating wineries. One ticket is<br />
valid for both Saturday and Sunday and there<br />
is no charge for designated drivers.<br />
