LLR PCT Cluster Board meeting

Mrs Ellis said that this paper effectively closed down the risks around
the transfer.
Ms Griffiths noted that there was nothing about clinical benefits or
integration.
Ms Bishop said that the work involved in bringing this finally together
should not be underestimated and that this paper is just a first phase
noting in particular the process that had been undertaken.
Mr Mell said that now LPT had done its internal vertical integration it
should focus on working across its boundaries with other organisations
(primary and acute care). There should be moves to bring services
closer to the patient’s home and connect GPs more with community
services. These are issues that have been discussed for a long time.
Mrs Ellis noted that this would be part of the LLR Reconfiguration
Programme.
Ms Brigden said that the relationship development section was very
thin and not focused.
Mrs Ellis suggested that this paper should go on the Board to Board
agenda.

Mr Finan said he considered it was a good paper looking at how the
CHS activities had been amalgamated and are on track to grow and
develop. Mrs Ellis agreed that there has been a safe and effective
transfer.
Ms Griffiths confirmed that this is a close down paper and that it will
become part of the LLR reconfiguration work. In many ways it is more
relevant to the CCGs who commission the service.

Quality Accounts for UHL and LPT
Mrs Liz Rowbotham, Director of Quality, Communications and
Engagement noted that the Quality Accounts for UHL and LPT were
not yet in a final position to come to the Cluster Board. The Quality
Accounts had been sent out for consultation and there had been
extensive feedback on them. The comments received are being shared
with the two trusts respectively. Once final statements are factually
