2011 Sheriff’s Medal Awards 2011 Retirements Note: The Sheriff’s Medal is awarded to those members of the office who are involved in an incident where a meritorious act is performed. This would include a shooting incident, attempting to save another's life, or apprehending a felon with knowledge of risk to life or limb.
