CAN‐med Takes Sail
On Thursday, June
23rd, the staff of
CAN‐med Healthcare’s
Bedford
office took sail
aboard the Tall
Ship Silva. The
team enjoyed a
breathtaking view
of the sunset over
the Halifax Harbour
as they
shared delicious
snacks and great conversation.
This positive team experience was made possible thanks to CANmed
Bedford’s
Social Committee
who hosted an
office bake sale
and organized a
basket draw to
raise funds. Hats
off to the Social
Committee, for
their hard work
planning such a
fun team event!
IMP Corporate’s Entertaining BBQ
The troops of IMP Corporate
were well entertained
during the 2011 BBQ made
possible by the Events
Committee. Bionic Bernie
(a.k.a. Bernie O’Rourke)
and Diminutive Dave (a.k.a.
Dave McKinnon) developed
a BBQ competition like no
one has ever seen before.
The competition was
loosely based on the
amount of cooked food
produced and the number
of one line zingers that
were thrown from one BBQ to the next..
Nobody’s sure who actually won, where the
development of the criteria seemed to be
made up as they went along. However, Corporate
staff are sure that they each believe
they won, which
means that everybody
won an
entertaining
lunch! A special
thank you to the
events committee
for organizing
the event
and to Bernie
and Dave for the
entertainment.
