TECHNOLOGY HEAT TREATMENT<br />
The system is able to perform the Steering Rack hardening in<br />
two modes:<br />
Toothed zone is hardened by a combined inductionconduction<br />
effect. Two terminals establish a HF current along<br />
the rack, then, the part is water quenched<br />
Stem is hardened by scanning with rotation by a ringinductor<br />
equipped with a quench<br />

STEERING RACK HARDENING SYSTEM BY INDUCTION - CONDUCTION<br />
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS<br />
HF Power: 100 KW, Induction frequency: (depending on case depth, typically, 100…150 KHz)<br />
Production: 200 parts / Hour<br />
Functioning principle:<br />
Loading from a stocking area, by an automatic loader<br />
Transferring between stations by conveyor<br />
Automatic orientation of rack teeth before HF conduction hardening<br />
Stem scan hardening in rotation<br />
Automatic separation of failed parts after process<br />
Optionally, the installation can be equipped with an in-line inductive<br />
tempering furnace to finish the heat treatment with the most efficient<br />
and clean technology.<br />
