Terminal Screens
The visual image on your terminal screens
represents a strong connection between
your organization and cardholders. Often,
the terminal screen is a consumer’s
primary interface with your organization.
We recognize the value of this image and
are dedicated to supporting a full spectrum
of screen options including basic colors
and fonts typically supplied by hardware
manufacturers, advanced color technology,
customized graphics, touch screen loads,
animations and full-motion video.

We offer flexible surcharging capabilities
to give you the ability to charge a flat rate
or a percentage of the transaction every
time a cardholder uses your terminals to
withdraw cash.

surcharging according to the geographics,
demographics and transaction volume at
each terminal location. To further ensure
your compliance with federal and state
laws, as well as industry requirements,
Fiserv provides different surcharging levels
based on network routing.
Notifying cardholders about surcharging
prior to a transaction is essential, and each
network requires that its unique, precise
wording be displayed. Fiserv has earned
“blanket surcharge approval” from various
networks. This means that surcharging
guidelines will ensure your compliance with
network regulations.
For optimum cardholder notification, Fiserv
displays the surcharge message on the
terminal screen, along with the amount
of the fee. After notification, cardholders
may cancel the transaction or continue. If
the transaction is completed, surcharging
information is confirmed on the receipt.
