SUBSECTION –6ON MINING EXPERTS<br />
Article–86-All the survey works for the constitution of the mining claims and quarries and<br />
sand pits exploitation licenses application files have to be achieved by experts<br />
in geological and mining surveys.<br />
Article–87-Operators who, in their staff, do not count experts in geological and mining<br />
surveys may call for independent experts accredited by the Geology and <strong>Mining</strong><br />
Control National Agency.<br />
The terms and conditions of approval and registration of these experts are<br />
specified by regulatory process.<br />
SUBSECTION – 7 ON THE DELIMITATION OF PERIMETERS<br />
Article–88-<strong>Mining</strong> claims related to the activities of mining prospection, exploration and<br />
exploitation and the quarries and sand pits exploitations licenses delimit the<br />
perimeter within which they apply.<br />
This perimeter is generated by vertical planes, indefinitely extended and deep,<br />
abutting above ground on the sides of a square, rectangle, or a closed polygon<br />
which tops are added in UTM coordinates (Universal Transversal Mercator).<br />
Article–89- The basic unit of measurement of the area allocated for the prospection,<br />
exploration and the mining exploitation activities is a square of one hectare<br />
range, determinated by the (UTM) coordinates according to a checker-board<br />
layout made official by the <strong>Mining</strong> Estate National Agency.<br />
The area granted in a mining claim or a mining license will be a multiple of<br />
adjoining squares, presenting at least one side in common.<br />
SUBSECTION -8 ON THE RENEWAL, REMOVAL, CESSATION, WAIVER OR ABANDONMENT<br />
OF THE MINING CLAIM<br />
