optical galaxy at a redshift z =0.768, a jet <strong>of</strong> radio emission on one side (most likely towards the<br />

observer) and the two outer radio lobes. The lobes occur as the relativistic plasma ejected by the<br />

central active galactic nuclei in two opposite directions suffers shock by the intergalactic medium.<br />

The overall linear size <strong>of</strong> 3C175 is about 1 million light years.<br />
