change is indicated for each region by the bold numbers. The species-rich regions east <strong>of</strong><br />

the 100oW meridian lose more species, though these species represent a smaller percentage <strong>of</strong><br />

species in these regions. The mean LSR in the South is anticipated to decrease by 6.3 species<br />

under climate change, the largest loss <strong>of</strong> all sub-regions.<br />
