While everyone contributed at sometime during the season, some of the more notable individual performances
were; Jake with the bat and ball, Jarvis, who, on a comeback from injury game batted outstandingly. Ethan and
Dan Skinner were the most consistent all-rounders. Dan Daly was always strong behind the wickets and with the
bat. Doug, John and import spinner Matt were the leading bowlers. The most spectacular catches were taken by
Jacob and John.
The team was coached by Trevor Daly who was always helping the boys with the various strategies to be used
on and off the field. Trevor also performed the bulk of the umpiring duties and was assisted by Chris and Greg.
Steve was the Manager and did the bulk of the scoring although was assisted by some of the players (notably
Jarvis). Thanks have to go to the Junior Committee particularly Tracey and David for all their efforts.
The end of this season is also the end of Junior Cricket for most of the players in this team. I am sure that they
have all enjoyed their time as Sandgate Redcliffe Juniors and wish them all the best for whatever path they
choose with Senior Cricket.
