ITM Texpo Eurasia to showcase
Turkey as major textile power
The Turkish textile exports
were estimated at
$704.248.000 in October
2011. Compared to
the same period of the
previous year, this is an
increase of 12.3 per cent.
Exports for the January-
October period also increased
by 25.8 per cent
compared to the previous
year. These figures
indicate that the Turkish
textile industry is again on
an upswing.
The overwhelming response received
to ITM Texpo Eurasia 2012
to be held during April 21-24 also
underlines the importance of Turkey
in the global textile industry. Most
of the exhibition space has been fully
booked. Foreign textile machinery
manufacturers, who were not
sure about the world textile industry
trend and the future of textiles in
Turkey a few months ago, do understand
the growing importance of the
Turkish companies, as the country
ranked among the first three in terms
of the number of exhibitors and visitors
at the exhibition.
Especially in terms of machinery
purchases, Turkish textile industrialists
attracted attention in terms
of their conscious investments as
professional visitors at ITMA 2011.

very good response from international
exhibitors.
ITM Texpo Eurasia 2012 Exhibition
organized simultaneously with
HIGHTEX 2012 and Yarn Exhibition
will be the most important
sectoral meeting of the year. Hall
2 and Hall 3 dedicated for spinning
and dyeing-printing-finishing technologies
are fully booked. Hall 7,
which is also dedicated to dyeingprinting-finishing
technologies, is
booked 70 per cent. Hall 12, dedicated
to weaving-knitting technologies
is booked 90 per cent, and in
compliance with the space booking
demands received, Hall 10 has
also been dedicated for knitting and
weaving technologies.
