Meadowdale Book Scheduled for Fall 2011 Release<br />
Local Author, Phil Aleo is completing his most recent project, focused on the history of Meadowdale International<br />
<strong>Race</strong>ways. Look for the release this September, and stay tuned via the Meadowdale International <strong>Race</strong>ways Preservation<br />
Association site (www.mirpa.org), and at the Motorsports & Memories <strong>Car</strong> Show at MIR on Sept 17th this Fall.<br />
A few Midwestern Council and CSCC members may be featured in Phil’s book (tease).<br />
Continental Tire Dream Giveaway - Win Both Porsches<br />

The WorldCause Foundation, an organization which is dedicated to providing help to those in abject poverty with a<br />
special emphasis on easing the suffering of children, provides funding to selected tax-exempt non-profit organizations.<br />
The net proceeds from this national sweepstakes benefit seriously ill children.<br />
We are not asking for a donation rather we are asking for you to help spread the word by distributing our brochures at<br />
your various events as well as to all your members. We can provide you with as many brochures as you need. Each<br />
sponsor for the Continental Tire Dream Giveaway will also get their company logo displayed on the event website<br />
(www.wintheporches.com) and each logo will be linked to the appropriate company website.<br />
This year’s giveaway launched on March 5 at the Homestead/Miami Grand-Am <strong>Race</strong> and ends on October 15. The<br />
lucky winner will receive both the one-of-a-kind 2011 Hurley Haywood Edition Porsche GT3 and a 2011 Porsche Cayenne<br />
S. Hybrid TAX FREE and will receive the keys to both cars at an award ceremony on November 2 at the 2011<br />
SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The 2011 Hurley Haywood Edition Porsche GT3 was named after former Hall of Famer<br />
and GRAND-AM Racing legend, Hurley Haywood who is the Chief Driving Instructor for Porsche of America and a<br />
member of the Brumos Racing team.<br />
Mr. Haywood and Grand-Am Racing have listed Camp Boggy Creek as their favorite cause which is why the World-<br />
Cause Foundation chose Camp Boggy Creek to receive a portion of the proceeds from the Continental Tire Dream<br />
Giveaway. Camp Boggy Creek, a Hole-in-the-Wall camp co-founded by actor/philanthropist Paul Newman and General<br />
H. Norman Schwarzkoph, is a year-round medical camp for children ages 7-16 who are suffering from chronic or<br />
life-threatening illnesses.<br />
