This course will provide the parcipants the informaon required to comply<br />
with the Malaysian legal requirements on chemical handling and chemical<br />
waste (scheduled waste) management which is OSHA (CPL) Regulaon 1997<br />
and EQA (uScheduled Waste) Regulaon 2005. Parcipants will gain the basic<br />
knowledge of safety and health at workplace and hazardous material handling.<br />
Parcipants will be able to idenfy chemical groups, understand proper use<br />
of chemical labelling, ascertain suitable PPE, proper handling of chemicals<br />
and able to react to conngencies – accidents. Besides that, parcipants will<br />
be exposed to the scheduled waste handling, storage, packaging, labelling,<br />
treatment and disposal.<br />
