About the Price of our Books...
Bulk purchases by clubs and retailers will be shipped via UPS GroundTrac®. The cost of this
service ranges from 60 to 80 cents per book for deliveries within North America. Shipping to Europe and
Australia, however, varies considerably as not all countries permit direct UPS operations. In such cases,
extra charges will be incurred as UPS will have to transfer the shipment to a national or local courier for
final delivery. Again, this is an issue that can best be cleared up by EMailing in advance.
Q: Do you charge "handling fees" for packaging and shipping bulk book orders?
A: No. The only thing we charge for bulk book orders, is the cost of the books, shipping and any customs
charges that must be collected in advance. Under the North American Free Trade Agreement, books
produced in Canada may be shipped to the United States or Mexico without duty. We take great care in
marking orders to the United States appropriately so that US Customs will recognize the duty-free status
of your book and let is pass without delay.
Should you be inadvertently charged duty at your end, take your shipment to a local US Customs office
and refer to the desk clerk to TSUS 4901.99.0070. This article in US Customs Policy acknolwedges that
our books are duty free and will help you secure a refund and correct any oversight on the part of the US
Customs Service.
Q: The mail can be very rough on goods, how do I know that my book will arrive in good order?
A: We share your concern. That's why we wrap your book in plastic *and* heavy duty abrasion resistant
paper prior to shipping.
All bulk orders are double wrapped in plastic to keep the moisture out. Books weighing up to 50lbs are
shipped in a corrugated box rated to carry 200lbs. The lid is sealed with tear-resistant nylon reinforced
tape. Finally, we ship via UPS®, an internationally respected, bonded courier.
We value your service and take all reasonable means to get our books to you on time and in good
condition.
