Authoritative information<br />

on the actual type of bearings<br />

fitted in motors already supplied<br />

can be obtained from the factory<br />

by quoting the serial number<br />

or read off on the lubrication instruction<br />

plate of 1LA8 motors.<br />

When deep-groove ball bearings<br />

with sideplates are used,<br />

the sideplate is on the inside.<br />

Fig. 3 (page 2/34) shows the<br />

non-standard design with a located<br />

bearing at the drive end<br />

for 1LA5, 1LA7, 1LA9, 1MA6,<br />

and 1MA7 motors.<br />

1) Deep-groove bearings are used<br />

for regreasable designs (K40)<br />

(does not apply to 1LA6 up to<br />

size 160).<br />

2) No deep-grove bearings are used<br />

for regreasable designs (K40).<br />

3) Only at 50 Hz.<br />
