■ Separately driven fan<br />
The use of a separately driven<br />
fan is recommended to increase<br />
motor utilization at <strong>low</strong> speeds<br />
and to limit noise generation at<br />
speeds significantly higher than<br />
the synchronous speed. In both<br />
cases, this refers to converterfed<br />
operation only. Please enquire<br />
about traction and vibratory<br />
operation.<br />
The separately driven fan can<br />
be supplied already fitted. Order<br />
Code G17.<br />
It can also be ordered and fitted<br />
separately (see Accessories,<br />
part 8, for selection information<br />
and order numbers).<br />
The separately driven fan has a<br />
rating plate with all important<br />
data. Please note the fan’s direction<br />
of rotation (axial fan)<br />
when connecting it. Coolant<br />
temperature CT max. 50 °C, higher<br />
coolant temperatures on request.<br />
