The vast majority of trauma patients treated at UMC come from Nevada (3,156 patients). California ranks second with 300 patients. Out of town trauma patients comprised 18.8 percent of all trauma patients. The day of the week with the greatest amount of trauma is Saturday. By hour of day, trauma arrivals peak between 18:00 and 19:00.
