characterisation of several lipolytic enzymes in a complex proteome. For this purpose,
proteome samples are exposed to the ABPs, followed by electrophoretic protein
separation, acquisition and software-assisted analysis of the fluorescence images of the
obtained protein patterns. The new method was validated using defined mixtures of
purified lipase and esterase preparations as well as natural tissue samples. The
statistically valid thresholds for the detection of differences between the compared
samples were determined.
