Dear Sir,
At the outset We would like to extend our warm greetings to you for arranging a Meeting
with Shri G.Srinivasan,Chairman, GIPSA on various matters on 16 th Dec'2010. We would like to
convey the issues to be taken up at the Meeting as due to some pre-occupation myself and
Shri Yadav are not able to attend the same. The issues are as under:
1. Change of Designation at par with banks – The change of Designation will not cost
anything and the officers shall not only get some moral boost up but also the social
status will be at par with bank officers. Right now Scale V officers are considered at
par with Scale IV of Banks as there Chief Managers are Scale IV and similarly Officers
down below. Hence it is requested that the designation of officers should be changed at
least at par with Banks which are as below:
1. . Scale I – Asst. Manager
2. Scale II – Dy. Manager
3. Scale III – Manager
5. Scale V - AGM
2. Pension Issue
1. Another Option for Pension to all the officers as on 31 st March'2010
2. Request to change the effective date of new Pension Scheme in line with banks & LIC
3. The Basic Pension should be revised with every Wage Revision as in GOI
4. The previous Service in Govt./PSU should be counted for Pension purposes
3. Revision in Housing Loan Scheme – Housing Loan Scheme 2002 needs to be rationalised:
1. Limits to be done away, limits to be determined as per the repaying capacity
2. Spouse income to be included for determining the repaying capacity
3. All the Basic loan of 5% & supplementary loans at 7.5% to be rationalised flat at
6.5% which will not cost the companies anything extra since it is at par with the
