A pulsed AS does not seem to be suitable for the site. A variation in the screen position<br />

of the AS wells is not advisable, due to a reduced overlapping of the ZOT AS and pollution in<br />

soil. Surface sealing significantly increases the amplitude of the ZOT SVE of the SVE system. A<br />

possible system upgrade is suggested, composed by 4 AS wells and 4 SVE wells, each<br />

operating as during the full-scale treatment performed up to now by P AS and P SVE , and surface<br />

sealing.<br />
