• Task 20: Prepare digital archive for submission to the Archaeological Data Service. The<br />
<strong>project</strong> will produce appropriate metadata and documentation during the course <strong>of</strong> the analysis<br />
work to enable the digital material to be deposited with ADS. The <strong>project</strong> will contact ADS at<br />
an early opportunity to discuss and confirm what degree <strong>of</strong> metadata is required for the level<br />
<strong>of</strong> deposition and dissemination envisaged. This will include the creation <strong>of</strong> dublin core format<br />
metadata for aspatial data, and NGDF format metadata for the spatial data. Contact between<br />
HC and the ADS will be maintained for the duration <strong>of</strong> the <strong>project</strong>, but for accounting purposes,<br />
the extra 5 days allocated for this task have been put in the final year <strong>of</strong> the <strong>project</strong>.<br />
