While translating texts of fiction, the interpreter should exercise great care, since any<br />
inaccurate choice may result in the target text reader's inability to attain an adequate aesthetic<br />
response. The broader the "areas" of overlapping of author and translator's individual mental<br />
spaces are, the more successful is the translation.<br />
Among prospective areas of further research are gender peculiarities of aesthetic<br />
response in translation.<br />
