4. The boxes should be according to the size of the machine part.
5. The work should be completed within 10 days on receipt of work
order.
6. Minimum five boxes required for packing 5 pieces of machine parts.
7. Damage if any happen while transport the machine due to wreckage
or poor quality packing materials, the amount equal to spares and repair
charges will be deducted from the Contractor.
8. Lowest rate will be accepted.
9. The machine containing 5 parts should be packed separately.
Required labourers for packing and shifting of the packing materials may
be arranged by the bidder.
10. The machine can be inspected by the bidder at any time between
10 am and 5 pm on all working days.
11. The Director, Printing and Stationery, Kavaratti will be the sole
authority to accept/cancel the whole or part of the bid/quotation without
mentioning reason.

Terms and Conditions for Auction
1. Aspiring biodders have to remit an amount of Rs. 1000/- towards EMD
by means of Demand Draft in favour of the SDO, Kavaratti payable at
Syndicate Bank, Kavaratti.
2. The EMD unsuccessful auctioneers will be released immediately on
finalization of the auction.
3. Bidders without EMD would not be allowed to participate in the
auction.
4. The amount of confirmed bid shall be deposited by the highest bidder
on finalization of the auction.
5. Releasing of the auctioned vehicle will be further subject to the
approval of the bid by the competent authority.
6. The vehicle should be removed by the bidder within 10 days of the
releasing order failing which the EMD deposited will be forfeited to the
Government and the bid would be treated as cancelled.
7. The vehicle will be available for inspection by the interested bidders at
SDO’s Office, Kavaratti between 10 am and 5 pm on all working days.
8. Interested bidders are requested to submit their applications along
with EMD on or before 28.03.2011 at 1500 hrs.
