J.K.Dadoo, Hon’ble Administrator cameto an end on 31 st May, <strong>2011</strong>. Thefootball lovers of Kavaratti islandhave been watching the play withgreat excitement which started on13 th May, <strong>2011</strong>. Eight teams tookpart in the tournament. The mostthrilling match was played betweenVolvo and Red Chilly on the finalday. Volvo won the game beatingRed Chilly for two goals. Thewinners got a trophy besides acash prize of Rs.1,00,000/- Therunner-up team took with theman amount of Rs.50,000/- asprize. Sainudheen.T.G. won theprestigious prize of the Best Playerand received key of the Motor bikeIn his inaugural address,Administrator requested people tokeep patience to get the things donein a good manner as the action ison hand to fulfil the dream ofestablishing a super specialityhospital with the help of AIMS tohave world class equipment andtreatment.
