Atkinson Theatre in New York.<br />
Gordon, who wrote the number-one<br />
hits "Next Time I Fall"<br />
and "Friends and Lovers," composed<br />
the score and wrote the<br />
lyrics for Jane Eyre, with additional<br />
lyrics by John Caird.<br />
Jane Eyre, a musical based on<br />
the Charlotte Bronte novel, portrays<br />
one woman's emotional<br />
and spiritual search for her<br />
place in the world and her<br />
enduring story of passion,<br />
courage and forgiveness.<br />

Mama Mia, the ABBA musical which has experienced huge success in<br />
London and Toronto, will tour the U.S. until it's Broadway Opening at the<br />
Winter Garden Theater on October 18, 2001. The show features 22 of the<br />
Swedish pop group's best-known tunes.<br />
