INTERNATIONAL DUTIES IN LONDON<br />

Toni Ann Marinaccio<br />

In October, 2000, Toni-Ann Marinaccio was appointed to<br />

the position of VP, International - U.S. Based in Los<br />

Angeles, Toni Ann’s role is to identify and negotiate international<br />

sub-publishing deals and<br />

catalogue acquisitions, along with<br />

maintaining current UMPG subpublishing<br />

deals. Working handin-hand<br />

with Kim Frankiewicz, VP<br />

of International (now based in the<br />

U.K.) Toni Ann acts as a liaison<br />

between international and<br />

domestic<br />

songwriters,<br />

producers, managers and attorneys.<br />

Following three years as VP of<br />

International at <strong>Universal</strong> <strong>Music</strong><br />

<strong>Publishing</strong>’s New York office, Kim<br />

Frankiewicz joined the UMPG<br />

European team in September as<br />

Vice President of International.<br />

Frankiewicz’s new role includes<br />

managing European signed<br />

clients’ activities overseas as well<br />

as U.S. client/activities in Europe,<br />

finding and negotiating ex-North America deals, maintaining<br />

current ex-North America deals, finding and negotiating<br />

European catalogue acquisitions, promoting European catalogues<br />

overseas and acting as a liason with management,<br />

A&R, creative song-plugging departments in all<br />

European territories. She is also in charge of promoting<br />

new signings & acquisitions, as well as the current U.K.<br />

roster, to all territories both within and outside of <strong>Universal</strong>.<br />
