Having topped world charts with their first single, "Beautiful Day," U2 released
their tenth CD, All That You Can't Leave Behind (Interscope), on October 31,
2000. It shot to the No. 1 position on more than 29 album charts across the globe
including the U.K., Sweden, Australia, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Norway,
Canada, and Brazil. In the

The album that rocked
the world...Critics call
“All That You Can’t
Leave Behind” a
masterpiece.
U.S. alone, the CD scanned over 850,000 units.
Many critics say the record is U2's finest work since their 1987
masterpiece, The Joshua Tree. The album was produced by
Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois and Steve Lillywhite, and marks the
bands return to a "classic U2" sound. The Dublin quartet's
work has been called a renaissance with lush melodies and heart rending lyrics signaling the
sea of change. Critics have hailed the caliber of U2's songs, written utilizing themes of rebirth
and redemption,inspiring in their simplicity, as well as their message which reaches out to a
brighter future. The single, "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" will be the follow up to
their No.1 smash, "Beautiful Day." In America, "Walk On," a song dedicated to Aung San Suu
Kyi, Burma's pro-democracy leader, is being released to US radio at the same time.

Bon Jovi’s “Crush” has sold over
6.3 Million copies Worldwide!
Bon Jovi's new CD, Crush (Island), has sold an estimated 6.3 million copies worldwide. The record,
which has reached No. 1 in nine major countries, reached No. 9 on The U.S. Billboard Top 200. UMPG
writers Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora wrote 9.5 songs for the album. The first single, "It's My Life,"
continues to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 and Adult Top 40 singles charts. Currently on a sold out US
tour, Bon Jovi's latest single and video, "Thank You For Loving Me," is receiving heavy rotation on VH1.
In December, Bon Jovi performed three songs at the Nobel Peace Prize awards ceremony in Oslo,
Norway.
THE CORRS
U.S. signing The Corrs have sold over 18 million copies of their latest
CD, In Blue (143/Lava/Atlantic), which topped charts in 18
countries in Europe and Australia. The CD received rave reviews
(including Album of the Week accolades in Music Week). The Irish
foursome’s first single, “Breathless,” entered the U.K. at No. 1 in
July. The Corrs are currently on an extensive winter European
tour. In July at the IFPI Platinum Europe Awards, The Corrs also
became the IFPI Artist Family Spokepeople. As part of their new
role, the band will continue to speak publicly in support of copyright
protection on the internet.
