Changing inner tube<br />
1. Switch off the main power switch<br />
on the control panel.<br />
2. Lift up and chock up the wheelchair<br />
chassis so that the wheel in<br />
question is free of the ground.<br />
3. Remove the wheel, it’s fitted with<br />
four screws.<br />
4. Release the air.<br />
5. Remove the six screws holding<br />
the two halves of the rim together.<br />
6. Take the rim apart.<br />
m WARNING!<br />
The central screw must not be removed.<br />
Ensure that pneumatic tires are not pressurized<br />
before the rim is taken apart, otherwise<br />
there is a risk of personal injury.<br />
7. Change the inner tube (2) in the tire (3) and fit together with the two rim<br />
halves (1&4). Tighten the six screws using a dynamometric wrench.<br />
Tightening torque: 22 Nm.<br />
8. Fill the tire to re<strong>com</strong>mended tire pressure, 29 psi (200 kPa).<br />
9. Fit the wheel on to the wheelchair. Tighten the four screws using a dynamometric<br />
wrench. Tightening torque 24 Nm.<br />
