Changing the batteries<br />
Rear battery<br />
8. Remove the electronics by pulling<br />
the release lips on the left and right<br />
hand side of the chassis outwards.<br />
See fig.<br />
9. Loosen the battery locks. See fig.<br />
10. Loosen the battery terminals, see<br />
fig. below. Also see the sticker on<br />
the inside of the chassis rear cover.<br />
11. Lift/pull the battery out using the<br />
battery strap.<br />
Pull the release lips to<br />
remove the electronics.<br />
m WARNING!<br />
Observe care in the use of metallic objects<br />
when working with batteries. A short-circuit can<br />
easily cause an explosion. Always use protective<br />
gloves and protective eye-glasses.<br />
The batteries are heavy and must be handled<br />
with care.<br />
Used or broken drive batteries should be taken<br />
care of in an environmentally correct manner<br />
in accordance with locally applicable recycling<br />
directions.<br />
Battery lock.<br />
12. Lift/push the new battery in to the<br />
chassis using the battery strap.<br />
Remount the battery locks.<br />
13. Connect the battery terminals on<br />
the new battery. Also see the sticker<br />
on the chassis rear cover.<br />
14. Remount the electronics. See fig<br />
above.<br />
15. Remount the chassis covers.<br />
