keimen <strong>of</strong> the feast. Epistle from the second letter <strong>of</strong> St. Peter, per. 65. Gospel from St. Mat -<br />

thew, per. 70. In place <strong>of</strong> It is truly worthy we sing Magnify, O my soul… Your birthgiving was<br />

undefiled… (thus until the Leavetaking <strong>of</strong> the feast). Communion hymn <strong>of</strong> the feast. After<br />

the prayer behind the ambon, grapes and other fruit are blessed according to the order given<br />

in the Book <strong>of</strong> Needs. Dismissal <strong>of</strong> the feast.<br />

Note: From this day until the Leavetaking <strong>of</strong> the feast, during the week at Matins we take the<br />

ka tavasia <strong>of</strong> the feast. During the Entrance at Liturgy we sing Come, let us worship… O Son<br />

<strong>of</strong> God, transfigured on the mountain, save us who sing to you… The hymn to the Mother <strong>of</strong><br />

God and dismissal <strong>of</strong> the feast.<br />
